Our client was seeking an experienced finance leader who could serve as a strategic partner to the business while providing strong financial leadership across its manufacturing operations. They needed someone capable of going beyond traditional reporting—using financial and operational data to identify opportunities, improve profitability, manage risk, and help guide the strategic direction of the business.
The right candidate needed extensive manufacturing finance experience combined with the ability to lead teams and work effectively across a complex, global organization. Our client also needed someone who could balance strong financial controls with sound business judgment, partnering closely with operational leadership to turn financial insight into actionable business decisions.
Gerardo brought the combination of financial leadership, manufacturing expertise, and operational experience our client was looking for.
Gerardo is a commercially focused finance and operations leader with more than 20 years of experience supporting global manufacturing organizations. Throughout his career, he has held senior finance leadership positions with responsibility for large-scale P&Ls, multiple manufacturing facilities, financial planning, operations, and the development of high-performing finance teams.
Prior to joining our client, Gerardo served in CFO and Vice President of Finance positions and had previously led finance for global manufacturing businesses ranging from $320 million to more than $800 million in revenue. His experience includes overseeing finance across multi-site operations, driving cost reductions and capacity expansions, leading capital allocation, and partnering directly with executive and operational leadership to improve business performance.
Gerardo’s combination of financial expertise, manufacturing experience, and commercial mindset made him an excellent fit for both the immediate needs of the position and our client’s long-term objectives.
This placement represents what we look for in a finance leadership search: a leader who can connect financial strategy with manufacturing operations to drive better decisions, stronger performance, and long-term growth.
